Varun Unni is a noted Indian singer and composer who works in Malayalam films. He was born on 15th July 1989, in Kochi, Kerala. He completed his school at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Vaduthala, in Kochi, and did his graduation in engineering from Adi Shankara College of Engineering, Kalady. He trained at Kalabhavan and worked with bands like Highway Haze and Flying Squad. He is a trained Carnatic musician, and he has been a vocalist and drummer for a local band.
