Jithin John

Jithin John is a video editor and Filmmaker with ten years of experience. He has worked on many projects like short films, documentaries, commercials, and corporate videos. Jithin John is proficient with many technical skills like Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve. He has a deep understanding of the filmmaking process.  He studied at the Shalom Institute of Media Science from 2012 -13, obtaining his diploma in Film editing and Film / Media Production, where he achieved skills in Digital Marketing, Content Production, Writing, and Cinematog-raphy. He also obtained a license and certification for his Diploma in Video Editing. He volunteered as a Senior Video Editor and Camera Man in the Pattupetty Media Production Studio, Chengannur, for six months in 2014-15. 

He worked part-time as a Non-Linear Editor at Plumeria Movies for two years from 2016 to 2018 and full-time at Sun TV Network Limited from 2016 to 18. He also worked as a Freelance Film Editor for six months for Amutha Movie in 2018. From 2018 to 2022, he worked as a Promo-Editor at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited in the Cochin area. For two years, he has worked in the film industry as an Associate Video Editor from 2021 to 2022 and a Freelance Film Editor since 2022. Jithin John knows three languages - English, Tamil, and Malayalam.
