Another skilled face in the world of Indian films, and theatres is the young versatile actor and director, Liju Krishna. Talking about his marked talents in the field of acting, this young artist has won hearts both on the stage as well as on the silver screen. His excellency and dedication as an artist has earned him a national award for the play, ‘Moment just before death’ as well as his astounding acting in ‘ white boys’ has earned him national appreciation.
Talking about his upbringing, this young skilled personality was born to Mr. V Balakrishnan and Mrs. PV Radhamani at Kanjileri, Kannur, Kerala. His early schooling started at Mambaram Higher Secondary School, Mambaram.
His prominence in acting earned him his master degree in Theatre arts from School of Drama and Fine Arts, Thrissur, Calicut University. Liju Krishna is the owner of a blissful acting career. Mahindra Excellence in Theatre awards has nominated the play, ‘ Moment just before death’ for six categories in 2014, the one which received nationwide appreciation for its intense psychological value, was designed and directed by Liju.
The play had won the awards for the best actor and the best designer, the protagonist was played by Manoj Omen. Earlier, this played had earned the honour of the Young Artist award at many short film and documentary film festivals nationwide. The fragility of life has been well portrayed in the film. His breakthrough into Bollywood as well as his silver screen debut was the film, ‘Madras café. Chewing gum and Kothara were his other potential films. ‘White Boys’ by Melisa Rajasekhar portrayed Liju as its protagonist in the role of Balu.
His previous film, rather short film, that had hit the theatres and received widespread appreciation was a Malayalam film named, ‘ima’ in 2017. The film under the excellent direction of liju Krishna had starred talented actors like Pratap Pothen and Meneka Suresh. This film potentially revolved around the tale of a middle aged couple, their intense love and support throughout the physical and mental darkness that prevailed over their lives.

Liju Krishna runs an institute named, ‘Saga Entertainments’ which trains budding youth interested in acting and theatre plays.
