Anil Banerjee is a Writer and Director in the Tamil Entertainment Industry. One of his notable works in the film industry is Munshi. According to Anil Banerjee, who is the writer and the director of Munshi, the proposal for an under 3-minute satirical take on happenings in Kerala was inspired by a cartoon series called Sakshi. While in progress, Anil even had a discussion with P.V. Krishnan, the man behind the creation of Sakshi, who was ready for this idea but mentioned that he had little doubts about the sustainability. During one of Anil’s interviews, he mentioned that creating Munshi’s content is not an easy task as it requires a lot of hard work and also, he has mentioned that the hustle has been getting harder over the years. Munshi is his most successful and longest running serial. Munshi is being aired since the year 2000.
