Sharon Thodupuzha is a well-known choreographer in the Malayalam film industry. He has contributed immensely through his art form, dance, to the Malayalam film industry. He is a very energetic person, and his character is reflected in his dance as well. Sharon Thodupuzha was born in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Sharon liked dance from a very young age; hence, he learned various kinds of folk dances at a very young age. To further his passion for dance and choreography, Sharon went to one of the most famous dance schools, the Kerala Kalamandalam.
Sharon had his choreography debut in 1999 in the movie "Aaraam Thampuran," which brought Sharon his well-deserved fame, followed by which he was asked to choreograph for many movies, namely " Chandralekha Click to look into! >> Read More... " (2003), " Rani Ranee is an Odia family drama TV serial that aired >> Read More... " (2004), and "Paleri Manikyam" (2009). He is widely applauded for his creativity and ability to blend traditional and contemporary dance styles. He makes an effort to include modern dance moves in traditional folk dances. Over the past years, Sharon has gained a huge fan following for his art form, and his work has also brought him many awards, such as the Kerala State Film Award for Best Choreography in 2003 and 2004. Apart from choreographing, Sharon also conducts dance workshops, through which he continues to inspire the younger generation.
