Akhil PS

Akhil P. S. is an Indian Assistant Producer, Mashup Producer, Assistant Program Director, and Graphics Designer who predominantly works in the Malayalam entertainment industry. He was born and raised in the district of Thrissur in Kerala. Akhil P. S. completed his schooling at St. Aloysius High School in Elthuruth. After that, he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Arts from the University of Calicut and graduated in 2021 with a specialization in History.

Akhil P. S. has additionally done a course in Television Production at the Chetana Media Institute. Akhil P. S. first began working as a graphics designer for Canvera. However, he decided to change careers after one year and took up a job as an Assistant Program Director at Asianet communications private Limited. S. was also involved in organizing and executing prestigious award functions like the Asianet Film Awards for multiple years from 2016 to 2019.

With each new endeavor and exposure to different genres, Akhil P. S. honed his skills and expanded his horizons within the industry. In 2017, he started working on shows in the cooking genre in the same role of Assistant Program Director. Although challenging and different from what he was used to doing, Akhil P. S. learnt to adapt and soon began to deliver quality content. Akhil P. During this time he also began to get involved in the film industry, for his role as an Assistant Program Director on ‘Cinemadiary’ (2017). Here, Akhil P. S. worked on film news, interviews, and celebrity gossip. His time at Asianet Star Communication Pvt. Ltd allowed him to establish his reputation as a resourceful and dynamic force in television production. In October 2020, Akhil P. S switched careers again and took up the role of Program Producer at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited. In this position, Akhil P. S has had the opportunity to explore innovative approaches to storytelling and content creation.
