Kafeel Jafri

Kafeel Jafri is a Bangalore-based Dastangoi theatre artist, poet, translator, and storyteller. Born and bought up in Lucknow, he is one of the prominent figures who has deeply ingrained the famous Urdu Language from his elder and cultural attributes through literary gatherings- Mehfils, Mushairas. His proficiency in the Urdu storytelling form called – Dastangoi. He completed his education at Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship and Christ Church College. Despite plays and Dastangoi, he also conceptualized and performed shows around Urdu literature. A few of his works are: 1. Life and Works of Faiz , 2. An evening of Ghalib and his Ghazals,  3. Manto ki Kahaniyan,  4. Urdu Shayari aur Ganga -Jamni Tehzeeb.

He has done about a hundred shows of various plays across Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, and Lucknow. He was known for Ditch Please [2014], Naukri [2018], and 90 to win [ 2017]. He is the founder of Bangalore - based theatre and literary groups LITERATURE ALIVE aims to bring literature, prose, and poetry with a combination of old; and new to the stage as a performance. He isn’t an expert in directing. He has other abilities: Marketing, Business Development, Team Management, Market Research, Business strategy, Business Storytelling, Voice lessons, Stage direction, and Creative writing. His experience not only ends with storyteller; instead but he was also a senior associate in Arista capital services, assistant management in marketing, Entrepreneur render, and Management Trainee he was also counting businessman and Creative departments. His notable accomplishments are IT Information library Foundations Certification {ITIL} and Prince2@ Foundation Certification Training.
