Raghavendra Naik is a writer, filmmaker, and director. He mainly works in the Kannada film industry. Raghavendra was born and grew up in Kundapur, Karnataka, India. He went to Stella Maris High School, Gangolli, Kundapura. He completed his Bachelor’s in Business Management degree from Dr. B. B. Hegde College. The director lives and works in Bangalore, Karnataka. Naik first started working as a Proprietor and Creative Director at Result Communications. He joined the Kannada film industry through the movie Mata. Later he worked in the direction department in various films. Raghavendra Naik’s debut film as the lead director was Marigold (2024). The comedy thriller stars the popular Kannada actor Diganth. In the movie, a boy steals a stash of gold biscuits, as the title suggests. The movie is about how he along with his friends went through troubles to get out of the situation.
