Shobha Raghavendra

Shobha Raghavendra is an actress from Karnataka, who has acted in over a hundred movies, television dramas, and theatre and radio performances. Despite being a famous actress and a household name in Karnataka, she entered into the film industry unintentionally. In the 1970’s, two famous directors, TS Nagabharana and TS Ranga were looking for an actress to play the role of a villager in a movie called ‘Grahana’.

Shobha’s friend recommended her to the directors. This was how Shobha got her start in the film industry. She is most popular for her role in ‘Manavanthara’.
