Sameer Nagarad is a Kannada actor, freelance editor, and designer. He was born on 13th September 1990 in Ballari, Karnataka, where he completed his schooling at Bala Bharathi Vivekananda High School. He studied at the Rao Bahadur Y. Mahabaleswarappa Engineering College and the APS PU College in Bengaluru. He started his career making short films and transitioned to the film industry in April 2013. He worked in the technical field and contributed to movies like Namaste Madam (2014), Belli 2014, Jai Lalitha (2014), etc.
He made his debut as an actor on 27 November 2015 with the film Rocket, in a minor role, and has played side characters in films like Galli Bekary (2018), RankalRaate (2018), and Vasu Nan Pakka Commercial (2018). His first lead role was in Laddu, released on 22 January 2021, which he also co-edited. His first film as an editor was Vajra (2018). He also has a YouTube channel, Sam Creations, where he releases short films like Formula (2021).
