Rajen Makhijani

Rajen Makhijani is a renowned writer in the Hindi Film and TV Industry, Bollywood. Rajen graduated at the Bombay University. Rajen participated and took part in stage plays in college. He used to write and even did some freelance advertising. Rajen attended a film school in Pune and completed a film appreciation course. Rajen maintained his part-time job in the corporate world and worked on improving his writing skills. It was tough to juggle both things, his job, and his writing career, but Rajen worked through it. Rajen would write whenever he found free time in his schedule, not caring if he was in an airport lobby or on a plane while traveling. Rajen attended a part-time writing course alongside his job. There, he wrote his first screenplay.

Rajen and his partner used some of their contacts and finalized the 'Thirty Day Trial.' Their screenplay was a success and received heavy appreciation. It even got nominated for the Indian Telefilms Award. Rajen has completed his degree in Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and is an IIM Calcutta College alumnus. He secured a corporate job based on his qualifications but opted to leave his corporate job for another field. Rajen decided to follow his passion and become a writer.
