Akkta Panwar is a writer, filmmaker, and communication specialist. She was born on 7th December 1986 at Jodhpur. She studied Film and Video communication at the National Institute of Design, Ahmadabad. She is a creative and carefree person who faces every challenge with a smile on her face. She worked in advertising as a copywriter for around six years and then moved on to study the craft of filmmaking. In the filmmaking journey, she did different roles from being a writer to a screenwriter, then learning almost everything about filmmaking. She summed up this entire journey in one word as “euphoric.” She is not only a filmmaker. She has laid her hand in different creative fields.

She has worked as a radio jockey, voice-over artist, event planner, advertising copywriter, branding and marketing content writer, production designer, chef, photographer and blogger. As a filmmaker, she has done appreciating works. She has directed a short fiction “Breakfast for Two.” Another work is ‘Amu’; it’s her second short fiction film, her Graduation film at NID (National Institute of Design). Apart from this, she has also directed a short documentary, ‘Padoshi’. She has the habit of looking for inspiration everywhere. She finds inspiration from the guy who sells chai on the street corner to famous filmmakers.

She finds inspiration in them because they love what they are doing and they are happy with their work. Believing herself is the advice that helps her in the flow of life. Akkta Panwar is truly an inspiration for many. She has proved with her life experiences that if we think we can, we will achieve anything in life. She says that the one thing she has learned along the way is to eliminate the word no from her dictionary. Start accepting the opportunities and challenges that comes in your way. The key is never to stop learning. This would be an inspiration for many people who struggle in doing things they love because of fear and many other reasons. Just say ‘Yes, you can!’ then half the job is done.
