Bonnie Chakraborty is a vocalist and music producer from Kolkata. His surname Chakraborty means the ‘Ruler of the Country'. Apart from being a vocalist and music producer, he has sung several playbacks in the Hindi film industry. The playbacks has been through the following movies; ‘Mangal Pandey - The Rising’ which was done in the year 2005, ‘ Jodhaa Akbar’, ‘Dev. D’, ‘Delhi 6’, ‘ Udaan’ and ‘ No One Killed Jessica’. Most of this work was done between the year 2008 and 2010. He has been a part of bands like Krosswindz, Kashti and Oikyotaan and Mohiner Ghoraguli. Bonnie Chakraborty has sung many songs.
The many songs are in different languages which include- Hindi, Tamil and Bengali. He has done four Bengali albums up to date. He has worked with several other music directors like; A. R. Rahman,
