Dinesh Sharma

Dinesh Sharma is an Indian News Presenter who has been in the news industry for over twenty years. Dinesh has completed his schooling at St. Edwards School, Shimla, and holds a degree in Journalism and Mass communication from Himachal Pradesh University. He has also completed his masters at the same institution in 1998 and graduated in Economics, Public Administration, and Journalism. Dinesh started his career as a report writer at Indian Express, Chandigarh.

He did an internship with Press Trust of India, Shimla, and joined The Statesman, a daily newspaper, as a trainee in 1997. After a year, he joined Zee News as an Associate editor. During his seventeen-year stint at the firm, he worked in areas such as political bureau, investigative bureau, security agencies, and the cover of the Ministry of Home Affairs. He became a prominent figure in the channel with shows such as Direct with Dinesh and Ground Zero.

Dinesh served as head editor and channel head of Zee Media in Punjab Haryana Himachal. In October 2019, due to some personal reasons, he stepped down from all his titles at Zee Media and eventually left the organization. In the same month of his resignation, he founded his news channel, naming it News PHH (Punjab Haryana Himachal). He currently serves as a Journalist and Editor in the Network.

Dinesh also served as Vice President of the Press Club of India.
