Tina Bhatiya

Tina Bhatia is a Bollywood actress. She was born on 18 December 1981 in Indore. She hails from Indore in Madhya Pradesh, India. She has done her schooling from the Kasturba Gram, Indore, Madhya Pradesh. She has completed her graduation from the Old Girls Degree College and post-graduation from New Girls Degree College. From her childhood, she was fascinated by dancing, which led her to take Kathak as her one of the major subjects for Graduation and Post Graduation along with her studies.

She was trained byDrSuchitraHarmalkar, who is herself a renowned Kathak dancer and disciple of RaigadhGharana. Tina has earned a junior fellowship of two years from the Ministry of Culture. She ishonored with the prestigious award ‘Nritya Shree” by “Kiran SangeetSamaroh, Katni, Madhya Pradesh. She joined the theatre in 2004 with prominent Bollywood personalities such as Anil Chapekar and Susheel Johari, Sanjay Sapkal. She took admission in the National School of Drama in 2006. She made her debut through the movie Oass released in 2012.

She has worked for two TV serials, “KyonkiJeena Isi KaNaam Hai” and “Zindgi dot com”, telecasted on Doordarshan. Her recent movie is ‘Gully Boy’ in which she performed the role of ‘Chhotimaa’ or Parveen. She has received Best Actress Award in Starlight Film Awards, and Best Performance Female in Lake View International Film Festival. She was also awarded Best Actress(Monthly Award) at the Cult Critic Movie Award in 2019. GulaboSitabo and Malay are some of her upcoming movies.
