Preeti Amin comes from a typical commercial minded Gujarati family settled in Hyderabad. She happened to discontinue her studies which was Chartered Accountancy final year but joined Kathak classes to learn dancing and brushed up her acting skills likewise. She was searching for opportunity even after her parents objected to pursue acting career. However, after some successful performances in Hyderabad, they got convinced to believe she could make living out of it. Preeti Amin is an Indian actress who mostly acts in television serials. Before entering into the television industry, she has appeared in advertisement modeling and has enacted in the theater. Amin has a very bubbly character. She can do comedy roles fantastically. Preeti entered into television serials with “Jhoome Jiiya Re”. In this serial, she has a lead role as Jiya Sabharwal, who fights for her destiny. This serial has telecasted in Zee Next but, later on, it shifted to Zee TV. She has been a part of many television serials like Dill Mil Gayye, Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein, Lapataganj and many more. She has taught dancing and remained a contestant on a reality show “India’s Best Cinestars Ki Khoj”. Moreover, she has also judged a dance show “Nach Le Bindani” telecasted in Zee TV Rajasthan and was a version of Dance India Dance Super Moms.

Preeti tied a knot with his long time good friend Lionel Pereira on 26 October 2014. Lionel is the US-based psychiatrist (doctor). They have married in a catholic style of the wedding at a church. She was the first to confess her love towards him. After 24 hours he confessed his love to me. In the year 2009, the duo met in a dance class, and she was shocked to know that Lionel is a doctor. She thought how he managed his professional life with this dance class. The couple started dating from 2011. Preeti has planned to learn dance in a US academy. She is very beautiful and famous for her role in Jhoome Jiiya Re.

She was born on December 29, 1984. Preeti Amin’s place of birth is Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh (now in Telangana), India. She belongs to a middle-class family. She took her school education at St. Andrews High School, Hyderabad.
