As a child, Pallavi Dutta believed in fairy tales and thought that fairies would grant wishes and make her dreams come true. So when she got the role to play the part of a fairy in the show Baal Veer, Pallavi Dutta was beyond words. In this series produced by the production company Optimystix Entertainment Pvt Ltd, Pallavi Dutta was given a negative role as she played a cunning fairy.

The shoe Baal Veer was the first telecast in October of the year 2012 and was aired for two years till November of the year 2016 with more than about one thousand episodes. In contrast, in her real life, if Pallavi Dutta is granted a wish, she would wish for a tragedy like that happened in Uttarakhand to never happen again. She, along with her family, have set up food stalls for the dispersed kids. During her work in the series Baal Veer, unfortunately, the mother of Pallavi Dutta met with an accident and was having a fractured knee.
