Daughter to Ganesh Roy and Preeti Roy, Nancy got her education in Purnia and completed her high school in Bhagalpur. She is also the oldest daughter in her family with two younger brothers. In 2021, she competed in a pageantry competition in Delhi and won the title of Miss. India Dellywood at just 18 years old. This kickstarted her journey in the glamour industry.

After this victory, she moved to Mumbai, appearing in minor roles.
