Mahima Makwana who is now better known as Rachna from the serial ‘Sapne SuhaaneLadakpan ke’ is just fourteen years old. Surprised? She is born on August 5th, 1999. Presently she is an STD 10th student and it’s been almost two years she has been working on this series. She started with a small role that of preeto’s sister, but now she has become a household name with every mother wishing a daughter like her. This show got her immense popularity. She is basically from Mumbai only.

When asked about her venture into acting, she gives the credit to her mother. She says her mother always wanted to become an actor but due to family restrictions, she wasn’t able to fulfill her dreams. That is one of the reasons why Mahima is more intended towards acting. When she got the role of lead actor, her mother went into tears and her friends felt proud. She has also worked in serials like ‘Baalika Vadhu’, CID, , Mile Jab Hum Tum, Aahat and . The two ads she worked on was Masala ad and Rin ad.

Even though she works as a lead actor, she doesn’t compromise on her study. She makes her study a first priority for her. Her parents are pretty strict when it comes to studies. She manages well, sometimes she is seen studying on phone in sets and she takes almost all motes on her phone. This year she’ll sit for her Board examination and things will be pretty tough for her, but she confirms that she can manage. Besides studying, she enjoys dancing, reading books and singing. She looks a bit mature for her age.

Like any other teenage girl, she too enjoys her life to the fullest and goes to movie, hangs out with friends and have fun
