Madhvi Gokhte is a Marathi actress who has come to the world of Hindi TV serials via the route of theatre. She was a theatre freak since a very young age and is well known personality in Marathi theatre.

She was first noticed in the serial '' during 2007-08 which was telecast on Zee TV. The serial was produced by for Film Tonic Entertainment and directed by Yash Chauhan. It was the story of an orphan girl who was raised by her aunt and uncle and was married to a very rich person who loves somebody else.

She wins over her husband by her love and perseverance. Madhvi performed as Madhvi Oberoi, the aunt of the female lead and gave such a convincing performance that she almost immediately became the loved aunt of Indian audiences. She was again seen in the Colors channel serial 'Baba Aiso Var Dhundho' as Dhara Chouhan , the mother of the female lead whose only worry in life is to settle her daughter who by a turn of fate is a dwarf. Her role in this serial again won her high accolades for her performance. She also acted in Ek safar kabhi aisa socha na tha as Mrs. Rathore against , who is the mother of the male lead.

She now stands apart with her performances in a spat of Television actresses of her genre.
