Gungun Uprari is a Indian television serial actor who plays a lead role in the serial ‘’. She plays the character named Jhanvi Agarwal and this serial earned her a lot of reputations and positive reviews.

Gungun Uprari was born and brought up in Lucknow as city of Uttar Pradesh. She came down to Mumbai to get more exposure to the Bollywood entertainment industry. She has also done a degree in mass communication. She has two sisters who work as a lecturer in college. She has found the passion in acting and films and has been active in the field from 2008.

She has also showcased some of the finest and notable performances in the televisions show series like ‘’, ‘’, ‘’. She has also acted on several advertisements of premium products which include Huggies, Choco Pie, Scotch Bright, Surf Excel, Johnson and Johnson and pears soap. She has also acted in many popular televisions serials like ‘Bhandan Saath Janmon Ka’ in which she portrays the character Jhanvi Aggarwal, ‘Hogey Juda Na Hum’, where she plays as the character and ‘Sang Mera Dol tu’.

She has also signed her next project with Sony TV which has a pretty big star cast starring from ‘Kahin Toh Hoga’ and Rakesh Vashisth from the television serial ‘Maryada’. Gungun Uprari is playing the role of sister-in-law of Rakesh’s character and the pilot episode of the television serial has already been shot and ready. Apart from the usual bubbly and cheerful girl character she is also seen playing a mythological character which is of more serious tone in nature.
