Being associated with PTV he was awarded the regional award for his contribution to the channel. After the boom of private channels, he was seen on numerous television shows such as ‘Jannat' (Hum TV), 'Wujood-e-Laraib' (Indus Vision) and tele film 'Haweli Ke Bund Darwazey' (Hum TV). He has been recently awarded most prestigious award ‘Sitare Imtiaz’.
