Jaisheel Dhami

Jaysheel “Jay” Dhami is part of a conservative family from Gujarat in Mumbai, and the brother of famous television actress of Madhubala fame, Dhrashti Dhami. Also, Jay is married to television actress Suhasi Goradia who is famous for playing Abha in the serial Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli (Zee TV). Jay was friends with Suhasi from a young age as she was a good friend of Dhrashti’s. They got married on 28th December 2007 and have been together since college 13 years back.

Jay’s mother is a housewife and an excellent cook of Gujarati delectables while he himself is an IT engineer. However, Jay is mostly known for taking part in season 5 of dance reality show Nach Baliye with his wife; they finished at 4th place.

His birthday is the 9th of January which is just one day before his sister Dhrashti’s, so they have always celebrated their birthdays together and consequently fought over their birthday gifts. He has always been very close to her, especially when she was a child behaving like a tomboy. They used to watch wrestling programs together and fight on their beds. Dhrashti regularly arrived on the Nach Baliye set to support him and Suhasi. Jay lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra with his family.

Jaisheel is the Founder and CEO of Respond Right Education, a primary group school with a curriculum that focuses on children's brain development. Its purpose is to help children become confident citizens of the country and establish a solid identity in all aspects of life. Its teaching method includes giving exercises to the students, which are meant to develop their abilities in the right and left brain hemispheres.
