Tanvi Thakkar is a popular and talented actress who is mostly seen acting in Hindi Television serials and has won many awards and accolades along with the hearts of millions audiences with her beautiful looks , screen presence and good acting skills. Born in the year 1985, born and brought up in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Tanvi Thakkar started out her career with modelling and soon started to get acting offers from leading Television production houses. Finally, after various auditioning and grooming sessions, Tanvi bagged the role of Ishika and made her debut on Indian television with Star One’s hit and popular show Miley Jab Hum Tum. Tanvi was instantly liked by the audiences in the role Ishika and she became quite a liked and popular face in the Hindi serials circle. Subsequently, Tanvi Thakkar was seen playing various roles in many popular serials including some of the big and ambitious projects of the Indian Television. Some of her serials are- Tujh Sang Preet Lagayi sajna on star plus as Vrinda-the show revolved around caste systems and honour killing, - a light hearted comedy show on Sony TV as Lavanya, Yeh Ishq Haye on Star one as Priyanka, Deepti in Sarvagunn Sampanna – an engaging family drama set with backdrop of Kolhapur on NDTV Imagine, Savitri on Life OK, on Zee TV, Desh ki beti Nandini – high voltage political drama on Sony TV, Hum ne li hai Shapath- a thriller show with various shades and conflicts of its characters, Madhubala on Colors TV, Love by chance as Suchi Sharma on UTV Bindaas and in Humsafars on Sony TV as Sania. On personal front, Tanvi Thakkar got engaged to another actor from the Industry Aditya Kapadia on December 2013.
