From Salimpur to Mumbai, Aham Sharma has come a long way to be where he is today. From a little boy who moved to Indore to continue his studies, to finishing engineering, to finally leaping into acting, Aham Sharma started his career with the TV series Chand Ke Paar Chalo. He currently plays the role of Karna in Mahabharat on Star Plus. He has contributed to series like
Aasman Se Aage, and even played the role of an antagonist in Hum Ne Li Shapath.
His debut Bollywood movie was Blue Oranges, and his most recent stint was a supporting role in the movie
Karle Pyaar Karle. When he first moved to Indore, he struggled with the English language. To improve, he worked very hard, and watched English channels and read a lot of English books to help himself. He now has a great command over the language, and is as fluent as a native speaker.
To keep himself fit for his role of Karna, Aham hits the gym daily as expected. Apart from this, he takes long walks on the beach. This role has brought him so much popularity amongst the younger generation, that he even receives calls from excited fans late in the night. Aham Sharma won’t let on about his love life, and says that he is single at the moment. However it is hard to believe, how this could be possible. He recently won the award for 'Saathi Nayi Soch Ka' 2014 for his role in Mahabharat.

Aham Sharma is a handsome television actor from India. He was born on July 22, 1989 at Patna, India and hailed in Salimpur in Bihar. When he was studying, the main language was Hindi so it is quite difficult for him to speak in English. When he went to Indore to continue his studies, he realizes the importance of the English so he worked so hard to study the language. Aham studied Engineering but he wanted to pursue his acting career so he moved to Mumbai.
He was debuted as a television actor from the daily soap, Chand Ke Paar Chalo which was aired on NDTV Imagine. He played the role of Rehan in the serial. In 2009, Aham played as Nirbhay Pundir in the Balaji Telefilms’
Bairi Piya on Colors TV. Later, he acted as Shravan, the husband of Ira (played by Leen Jumani and the ex-boyfriend of Isha (played by
Toral Rasputra) in the drama soap, Chhoti Si Zindagi which was aired on Zee TV. He also did an episodic in the popular weekly crime-based drama serial, Hum Ne Li Hai…Shapath on Life OK where he played as Dr. Ajay and an undercover agent. He was also seen as the 2nd male dancer in the elder brother of Akshat in the Hindi serial, Aasman Se Aage on Life OK. Aham also did some episodic in the popular series like
Fear Files and CID. Aham was also part of the mythological drama serial, Mahabharat on STAR Plus. He bagged the role of Karna and he likes his character since it has different shades. Aham also acted as Aditya who stand against Rachna (played by
Swati Kapoor) in the crime thriller series, Kaali – Ek Agnipariksha.
In 2009, he did the Bollywood film Blue Oranges under the direction of Rajesh Ganguly. He played the pivotal role of Kevin Travasso, ex-lover of Shalini Chauhan (played by
Pooja Kanwal) who was murdered and his character was one of the suspects. In 2012, Aham was part of the romantic comedy film, Yeh Jo Mohabbat Hai. This year, he did the role of Jass in the romantic Hindi film, Karle Pyaar Karle by Rajesh Pandey.
Because of his great talent and his efficiency to work, he was highly respected as an actor. And this is also why he continued to receive many offers for a role in television and films. This 2014, he received the Best Actor in Supporting Role in the Indian Telly Award and the Star Parivar Award for Saathi Nayi Soch Ka for his wonderful performance in Mahabharat.
