Ram Awana was born on March 1, 1971, in the city of Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. He is a well renowned Indian movie, and television actor, best known for his roles in the box office hit films like Kesari, Jungle, Ansh: The Deadly Part, Battalion 609 and Mission Kashmir. He is a well-recognized face on the television screens as he appeared on prominent shows like CID, Adaalat, Balika Vadhu, Crime Patrol, Gutur Gu, Dwarkadheesh- Bhagwaan Shree Krishna and many more. He is a graduate from GDC College, Noida and obtained his post-graduation degree from Bharatendu Academy of Dramatic Arts, Lucknow, where he is a Gold Medalist in Dramatic Arts. After his Graduation, he also enrolled in Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts to deepen his roots in the field of acting. He was considered as an “A” Grade actor in Shri Ram Centre repertory from 1996 to 1998. He entered the world of Bollywood with the movie Jungle in 2000 as Zinda. The actor has an illustrious acting profile. He has played many appreciable roles in National Award winning movies such as Baaja and Lahore. He has been working alongside a number of renowned Bollywood personalities like Ranjit Kapoor, B.M. Shah, Habib Tanvir and many more. Besides his eminent participation in Indian projects, the actor has been a part of International films too as he worked in a German feature movie named Best Chance by Director Marcus H. Rosen Müller. His TV debut was in the year 1999 in the Hindi drama Yug. He has been a usual face in Hindi mythological dramas on the TV screens as well. Since then, he has appeared in an overwhelming number of Hindi television series, precisely, more than 200.
