Rajesh Jais is originally a theatre actor with a profound presence in the Hindi TV & Cinema. He has been working in the entertainment industry for more than 20 years. His initial most noted appearances were in the series ‘ Shanti’, where he acted along with other budding actors & actresses such as Yatin Karyekar & Mandira Bedi.

During his student life, he was actively involved in extracurricular activities such as skits and plays. He always dreamt of making a career in the entertainment industry due to his natural bent towards the arts, acting & music. He later made this aspiration a reality, as he is an alumnus of the National School of Drama (1988-91), Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

He has been an avid lover of Indian classical music and placed in the category of ‘ Bhushan’ due to his well-perceived singing abilities. His acting career mostly consists of several small roles in movies and most recently, some major appearances in the Hindi Television Industry. Initially, he did journalism, even worked as an anchor for radio, but his heart was in acting.

He acted in several plays, in which he worked with Play Directors such as Barry John, ' Anuradha Kapur' & Robin Das to name a few. His film endeavours are mostly centred on serious and meaningful cinema. His little or lengthy, but noted appearances in some movies like ‘Matrubhoomi:A Nation Without Women’, ‘Rocket Singh’ & ‘Joggers Park’ has won him the attention of the viewers.

His past appearance in a popular TV series like ‘ Byomkesh Bakshi’, Manam, to the recent ‘Iss Pyaar ko Kya Naam Doon’, seems to be going strong like anything.

Rajesh Kumar is a renowned Indian actor, who rose to fame after essaying the role of Subodh Thakkar in the popular primetime series, Baa Bahoo Aur Baby on STAR Plus. He was born on January 20, 1975 in Patna, Bihar, India and graduated at the Hindu College, University of Delhi. He came to Mumbai in year 1999 since her sister is expecting a baby. He was busy during the day and got bored in the evenings so he asked his friend if he can join their theatre group. He started liking theatre so he decided to stay in Mumbai and took a Mass Communication course at St. Xavier’s. But the day of the interview in St. Xavier’s was the same day of his first audition on Star Bestsellers; he chose the audition.He appeared in television series like Kkusum, Kaun Apna Kaun Paraya, Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand, Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka and more. He was featured as Rosesh, a theatre artist and poet in the anthology sitcom, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai in 2004. Rajesh became popular for his nasal accent and terrible poetry. In 2005, he played as Subodh Thakkar in the very popular primetime series, Baa Bahoo Aur Baby on STAR Plus. He also joined the reality show, Comedy Circus 2 along with Rajeev Nigam in 2008. Later, he donned the role of Dristhdumn Sarveshwar Sharma on SAB TV’s Mrs. & Mr. Sharma Allahabadwale. Rajesh also acted as Vicky in the comedy show, Bhootwala Serial on SAB TV. In 2011, Rajesh was starred as Chintu Dwivedi in the comedy series, Chintu Chinki Aur Ek Badi Si Love Story on SAB TV. He was also part of the action crime series, Arjun in 2012. Recently, he played as Dara Koyla in the horror comedy series, Pritam Pyare Aur Woh. He also acted in the main lead role as Laal Singh in the fictional comedy series, Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hai and Yam Kisi Se Kam Nahin in 2014. Rajesh also acted in the Bollywood film, Men Will Be Men which stars Gaurav Chopra, Zeenal Kamdar and Rohit Khurana in 2011. He was also cast in the drama film, Super Nani which was produced and directed by Indra Kumar in 2014. Prior to this, he also works in few scenes of the Marathi film, Rang Birangi under the direction of Rajendar Bade.Rajesh was married to Madhvi Chopra since 2004 and they now have two sons namely, Ahaan and Vyaan.
