Naveed's father is a well-known Bollywood comedian from the 1960s and 1970s. His brothers are, Javed Jaffrey and Hussein Jaffrey. Naveed’s brother, Javed Jaffrey, is an actor, dancer, and comedian who has acted in Hindi movies and on television. Shakira Shafi and Muskaan Jaffery are his step-sisters. Sayeeda Jaffrey is his wife's name.

His wife, Sayeeda Jaffrey, and he were married in the year 2012.
