He was known to be the only WWE wrestler to knock-down Undertaker by stepping in to his breast. Born on August 27, 1972 as Dalip Singh Rana from Himachal Pradesh, India. He has other 6 siblings. He suffers from “Acromegaly” that tends to face deformities and close to gigantism. He inherited this illness from his grandfather whose 6 feet and 6 inches tall. He was married to Harminder Kaur in 2002.
He first joined All Pro Wrestling from 2000 to 2001. He also joined the New Japan Proffesional Wrestling matches from 2001 to 2002. He was then first called to be “Giant Singh.” He also joined the matches for “Consejo Mudial de Lucha Libre” in 2002 and fought in various matches. He went back to All Japan Professional Wrestling on January 19, 2003. He fought with the undertaker in his time in WWE from 2006 to 2014. He got his first “World Heavyweight Champion” belt in 2007. He was well known in his “Punjabi Bomb” as his finishing style in wrestling matches. He also appeared in Television and Film naming “The Bigg Boss” in 2010, “Outsourced” with his small-time appearance, and in a sitcom Pair of Kings.
He appeared in various supporting roles for the movie in 2005 “The Longest Yard” with
Adam Sandler, he also played Dalip in the 2008 movie “Get Smart” and Tug Phelps in a 2010 movie “McGruber.” He also appeared in Bollywood movies like “
Kushti” in 2010, he appeared as Vali in a fantasy film “Ramaa: The Saviour” and animated comedy French-film “Sur la Piste du Marsupilami” in 2012. He was also charged of $1.3 million lawsuit for being reluctant in their practice and match with Brian Ong. Though Ong ignored his injuries, Dalip was found reluctant and neglected of not checking the opponent’s status.
