Manashi Sahariah

Manashi Sahariah is a singer, popularly known for winning the title of ‘The Voice India Kids 2’ in 2018. She was born in 2007 in Udmari Village, Kalaigaon, Assam. Her father, Mr. Anupam Sahariah, is a well-known Tabla and Drum artist. Her mother, Mrs. Jitumoni Sahariah, is a classical singer. She prospered her interest in singing when she was three years old while listening to her mother’s singing.

She never had the chance to get proper training for singing, so she worked on her skills just by watching Hindi songs’ videos on YouTube. Her villagers are like her family, and love Manashi a lot. They raised funds for her so that she could get the opportunity to go to Mumbai and participate in The Voice India Kids 2.’ When she went to give the audition, she knew very few Hindi songs.

But throughout her journey, her Hindi accent got better. This show helped her to improve her confidence and also made her a better person.
