Saraswati Rane was an Indian classical singer who lived from October 4, 1913, to October 10, 2006. She was the daughter of Kirana Gharana's founder, Ustad Abdul Karim Khan. The nephew of Alladiya Khan, Ustad Nathan Khan of the Jaipur Gharana, Prof. B. R. Deodhar, and Pandit Master Krishnarao Phulambrikar of the Gwalior Gharana were a few of the mentors from various Gharanas who trained her. Sunderrao Rane was her husband. Sarswatibai received several awards, including the Balgandharva Purskar (Government of Maharashtra, 1966); Balgandharva Gold Medal; ITC Sangeet Research Academy Award; Yeshwantrao Chavan Puraskar; Guru Mahatmya Puraskar; and Kirana Gharana Award in 1999.
