Prathaa Khandekar is an experienced singer who had her roots at the age of three years with an uncle who taught her the basics of music. His influence led her to learn how to play the accompaniment instruments, and her talent for singing grew from there. And although she did not bag the champion title, she did not let that deter her passion for singing and continued gigs here and there and went on to open a YouTube channel where she sings her own renditions and covers of songs.
Despite not performing hardcore Hindustani classical yet, she aspires to serve the genre soon and is working hard. Prathaa has performed on stage with her father, singing classical and new Hindi film songs since she was 12. She worked her first solo concert in 2015, singing 16 songs showing her versatility. She performs everything from classics and romantic film songs to ghazals and western film songs.
