Piyush Kapoor

Born on 7th May, 1990, Piyush Kapoor is now a successful playback singer, songwriter, and performer. He made his way up the success ladder after participating in the reality television show X-Factor. It is a singing talent hunt show that aired on Sony Entertainment Television. Hailing from Lucknow, Piyush started thinking of singing as a serious career option at the age of 15. Although he previously auditioned for several reality shows, he got his much-awaited break with X-Factor. In an interview after his elimination from the show, he confessed that he was hurt for being ousted by his own mentor - Sonu Nigam.
