Nishi Rajan

Nishi Rajan is a famous singer, songwriter ,and also actor. She is also a lawyer, a director, a producer ,and a writer. She was born in New Delhi, India though her family is from the south Indian state of Kerala. She commenced her career in the world of music and entertainment in 2002. Her first EP released in 2005. Accompanied by her band,The Nights, she performed throughout New York City. She appeared in several independent feature films, short films, Off-Broadway theatres and community theatre productions in New York. She honed her skills in acting by studying at the prestigious HB studio. In 2014, she was the director and the producer of The Rajah’s Son & Princess Labam, an Indian Off-Broadway musical, which consisted of more than thirty-five cast.

In 2017, she appeared as Umme in the television show We Speak NYC. She performed in more than one-hundred ,and twenty million Live shows worldwide on Broad Crossing’s Voice of America. Her music won millions of hearts throughout Canada, London, Japan, India, Malaysia and America. The title track of the independent Sailor Moon Movie was her single track Story II. This track became the most downloaded song by a solo woman artist on CdBaby during 2011-2012. She released her another single track in 2016, Steal Your Heart Away. She is also a full-time lawyer in New York. She established the Leading Light Foundation, a human rights non-profit organization which reports on international human right issues. Nishi Rajan is widely known for her music which is an excellent mixture of Indian-American dance fusion, World ,and American Rock and Pop and Dance.
