Sonia Bahl is a screenwriter. She is from Kolkata, West Bengal, India. For 12 years, she worked as a maker of advertising commercials. She is an executive creative director at McCann-Erickson. She also works as a full-time screenwriter. She came in as the finalist at MAISHA, Mira Nair’s script writing lab, and she has been commissioned to adapt books, and write screenplays, stories, and treatments. She co-wrote the screenplay for Nobleman. Nobleman was released in June 2019. She co-wrote the screenplay for the film Sitara. The Spectacular Miss is the first novel written by her. Her second novel is A Year of Wednesdays. She has also written the screenplay for Fox Star Studios (Disney).
