Ashish Prakash Varma is a Bollywood screenwriter and creative director from Mumbai. He graduated from the University of Mumbai. He pursued a PG Diploma in Advertising and PR from K. C. College of Management Studies, Mumbai. He began his career as a copywriter at Touche and later as senior copywriter and copy group head at Situations Advertising and Marketing Services Pvt. Ltd. and Percept AMO respectively. He gained experience as a creative group head while working at Triton Communities and Draftfcb. He was the partner and founder of the boutique agency Zebras. He worked in association with Everest Brand Solutions as a Creative Director. He became an Independent Creative Consultant in 2018. Having worked in the industry for over 20 years, he has gained expertise in copywriting, brand building, managing multifunctional creative teams. He believes that advertising is an art for a purpose. He also writes TV shows, promos, radio shows, and movie scripts. His popular works are Tehran, Sanak, Footfairy, and The Lift Boy.
