The scheme released in the year of 2008 and was Pubali’s initial screenwriting exertion for the Hindi movie industry. Like Rock On! KPC is a tale about comrades, but the tone, temper, impression of the movie is absolutely dissimilar. It portrays the story of three friends, Govind, Ishaan, and Omi who start a guidance academy to create the nation’s next cricket sensation. Tailored from Chetan Bhagat’s story 3 Mistakes of My Life, the tale was set in Gujarat during the insecure times of the Godhra mutinies. The picture recently won a grab of prizes and got Pubali her first Film fare award for screenwriting.

Here she chats about her scripting, debates the story choices she took while lettering Kai Po Che and considers on time as a screenwriter in an honest interview. Her only wish is to say that at this point all the allegations made under different editorials issued over the last few days against the screenwriter and Excel, concerning Abhishek’s composition and possession of the script that was under-production for the film Rock On 2, are baseless.
