Munawar Khan

Munawar Khan is a production manager based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He predominantly works in the production and casting department of the Bollywood industry. He completed his schooling from Maharaja Agarsain Public School. Then, he studied Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government at the University of Delhi. He also holds a Diploma in Filmmaking and Film/ Cinema/Video Studies from the Asian Academy of Film and Television, Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

He started his career in 2021 as a production manager at the Savitri Production Private Limited. Then, in 2015, he started working as a production coordinator at Shantketan Entertainment. In January 2016, he was promoted to the position of production manager at the Shantketan Films. He also worked as the Executive Producer at the AdiRij Entertainment, Mumbai. In 2017, he switched to SK World Entertainment Private Limited to work as a Line Producer. Since December 2014, he has been working as a freelance production manager for film and TV series in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Munawar’s first project as a production manager was a film called Ishq Junoon, which was released in 2016 under the banner of Shantketan Films. Then in 2017, he worked on a web series called Arlak with AdiRij Entertainment. In the same year, he also shot a commercial for New Town Grand. In 2022, he was associated with the Bestseller mini-TV series, which was aired on the OTT platform Prime Video. It is about the story of a novelist who is facing writer's block and meets a budding writer and then the writer decides to use her story for his next novel.
