Nazim Rizvi is a filmmaker and screenplay writer. He has produced a few films as well most popular of which are Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, starring Salman Khan, Rani Mukerji, and Preity Zinta. His other films were Hum Lallan Bol Rahe Hain, and Under Trail. He has written two movies as well and his talent is admired by everyone. He said in an interview that he didn’t join the film industry for money as that was always secondary but his primary motive is to send a message to people and to create a change in the society, as even after having a great education he joined the industry instead of starting a business.

He began his career as an assistant director with Ram Pahwa. His movie Chori Chori Chupke Chupke brought him into the controversies due to ego clashes of different celebrities, and he says that it was a conspiracy to remove him from the industry. He says that he never had anything to do with the underworld but was arrested for allegedly having relations with underworld don Chota Shakeel and him producing movies on his behalf. On Hindi cinema, he commented that we have a lot of emotions and it is what connects people.

He says his job appears very simple to him because of his passion and even after coming out of jail he didn’t find any difficulty in raising money for his films. He told the media that three years in the prison had not changed him but his honesty and hard work will let him sail through his bad times and this was his strength. After his release, he said that he is making these films because he thinks that they have good stories. His first movie was Mazboor Ladki which released in 1991 where he worked as an actor and producer as well.

His next movie came in the year 1993 called ‘Apaatkaal’, produced by him. Nazim Rizvi produced another movie called Angaar Vadee released in 1998. Choro Chori Chupke Chupke released in 2001 and it was one of the best films he ever produced which was a blockbuster hit. He produced Under Trail and Hum Lallan Bol Rahe Hain. He wrote the story for the movie Qasam Se Qasam Se, released in the year 2012, which is his recent film as of now.

He has a son, Azim Rizvi, of whom he never mentioned but once during an interview, he confessed that Azim was the choice of Dharmendra Nath Thakur the producer for the film Qasam Se Qasam Se, and his son has got two more offers in the films, one with Amitabh Bachchan sir and another with Nana Patekar.

Ashok Ghai

Ashok Ghai is a director and producer in the Hindi Film Industry. He also worked as an assistant director in the Indian film industry for movies like Karz ( 1980 ), Krodhi ( 1981 ) and Khalnayak ( 1993 ). He was born on 22nd October and currently resides in Bandra, Maharashtra. His hobbies include cosplaying, puzzles and couponing. He was born and brought up in Nagpur and lived in a Punjabi family. His father who was a dentist practiced in Delhi. He completed his education from Delhi and later moved to Mumbai. He is the brother of legendary film director Subhash Ghai. He has two daughters – Suzzana Ghai and Neha Ghai. Suzzana Ghai works as a producer in the industry. His brother, Subhash is married to Mukta Ghai, and has two daughters - Muskaan Ghai and Meghna Ghai Puri. He started his career, as an assistant director for the movie Karz ( 1980 ) and after that worked in the same role for the film Krodhi ( 1981 ). In 1986, he made his production debut with the movie Karma. His other production endeavors include Ram Lakhan ( 1989 ), Saudagar (1991), Khalnayak (1993), Ek Aur Ek Gyarah (2003), Yaadein (2001), Hello Darling ( 2010) and Double Di Trouble (2014). Furthermore, he has also directed films like Shaam Ghanshaam (1996) starring Rakhee Gulzar, Chandrachur Singh, and Arbaaz Khan. Ashok Ghai has also worked in collaboration with his brother Subhash Ghai for several movies, 7 to be precise. They have come together for movies namely Karz, Krodhi, Karma, Ram Lakhan, Saudagar, Ek Aur Ek Gyarah, and Shaadi Se Pehle. In Karz and Krodhi, he worked as the Chief Assistant Director and in the movies Saudagar Karma and Shaadi Se Pehle he has worked as the Executive Producer. The brothers had also come together and established an Indian film production company together named Mukta Arts. It is a Hindi entertainment production company that releases motion pictures. It is associated with production, distribution, and exhibition of films and serials for the Bollywood entertainment industry. Named after Subhash Ghai's spouse Mukta Ghai, it is also responsible for managing the Whistling Woods International Institute Research and Training Center for Mass and Media Industry. Movies like Good Boy Bad Boy, Double Di Trouble, Ek Aur Ek Gyarah were made under this production company. Producer Ashok Ghai has also signed Sachin to direct a movie called 2 in 1 under the Mukta Arts Production. Sachin has also directed Prem Deewane, starring Jackie Shroff, Madhuri Dixit and Pooja Bhatt for Ashok Ghai earlier. In the 28thFilmfare Awards, his movie Karz won the awards for the Best Music Director, Best Supporting Actress, Best Male Playback and Best Lyricist. In the 35thFilmfareAwards, his movie Ram Lakhan (1989) which was directed by Subhash Ghai won several Filmfare Awards. Those include Best Supporting Actress, Best Film, Best Supporting Actor, Best Music Director, Best Male Playback and Best Female Playback. The latest movies of Ashok Ghai include Hello Darling (2010) and Double Di Trouble (2014) with Subhash Ghai.
