Nancy Nisa Beso

Nancy Nisa Beso is an India and UK based producer. She has worked in both indie and commercials films. Nancy has experience in the areas of Film, Television, and TVC production. Her qualifications in the field of film making include studies in the University of Westminster, where she acquired a BA Hons in Film Theory, Analysis, and Practice, from 2007 to 2009.

Her area of specialization is production and cinematography. Before attending the University of Westminster in the UK, Beso did BA Economics, Political Science, Education from 2003 to 2006 from the Delhi University. And in 2005 she did a diploma course in Film, Television, and Journalism from the Asian Academy of Film and Television.

Beso started her career in the area of media at a young age. She began working with local radio and television and eventually worked her way up. She has over 13 years’ experience of working in Feature Films, Television, and Advertising. Her skill sets not only stick to production but project development, negotiation, research (due diligence), Production management (development, execution, and delivery), and sound technical knowledge. Nancy’s passion for the craft of filmmaking has made her an all-rounder in her area of expertise. And she gained valuable experience while working in all departments. Be it in developed or developing nations, her passion for good storytelling, along with her expert experience, innovation, and entrepreneurship skills, brought inspiring and high-quality films on the screen. She had even started her own boutique production company 'Undercover Squirrel' to help brands and filmmakers. So they could tell compelling and captivating stories on screen and connect with their audiences.

Not only in film making, but Nancy is proficient in multiple languages like English, Hindi, Spanish, and Mandarin. Nancy’s filmography in the production department includes multiple tasks that she has done in various. Nancy has worked in two films, London Paris New York (2012) and Land Gold Women (2011), as an assistant director and casting coordinator. Nancy has worked as a production manager/ assistant production manager in a few films like Maryan (2013), and Mausam (2011). And as a production coordinator in Mausam (2011) and Even If It’s a Lie (2010). She even appeared in the film, Parched (2015) as Naobi.
