Kamlesh Kumar is a film and TV executive producer and production designer. He has an experience of over three decades in executing, conceptualizing and marketing of feature film projects. He is known for being the Executive Producer of Eros International Media Pvt. Ltd. and the overall Production manager in DMS Films. He did his schooling from St. Columba School, Hazaribagh. After his schooling, he competed for civil service examinations and other higher studies competitive exams like for the IIT’s, ISM, SCRA and also for Merchant Navy in T. S. Rajendra (now T. S. Chanakya). He then thought of trying his luck in Bollywood. He started working as a production controller and manager as early as 1983 in "Humse Hai Zamana" (1983), "Coolie" (1983), and Bhojpuri films "Naihar Ki Chunri" (1986) and "Aangan Ki Lakshmi" (1987). In 2007, Kamlesh Kumar started his production venture with the Bhojpuri film, "Sajan Sang Lagi Laganiya", with a budget of about Rs 80 Lacs. It was directed by Braj Bhushan and was shot at Mahabaleshwar and Mumbai. Bhojpuri actor Kunal Singh played the lead role. With so many projects under his sleeves, Kamlesh Kumar is considered as one of the most influential veteran production handlers of the Bollywood industry.
