Anand Bhosle

Anand Bhosle was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra into a renowned family of musicians. His father Rahul Dev Burman was well known for his music compositions and Anand himself is known for the best-producing movies such as Damad (1978) and Mai (2013). Anand has two siblings; His older brother Hemant Bhosle is a film score composer and his late elder sister was an Indian singer Journalist and writer based in Mumbai. Anand has studied business and film direction and after completing his studies he decided to support and manage his mother's career and put his aspirations aside.

But his mother, Asha Bhosle always wanted her children not to be bound only by the music industry and encouraged them to explore other fields. He married Anuja Chitre in Mumbai in 1983, with whom he has two children, a son named Ranjay and a daughter Zanai who is also an artist and singer. Additionally, to give tribute to his father RD Burman, he produced a documentary named Pancham Unmixed: Mujhe Chalte Jaana Hai (2008), which reflected insights into his father's personal and professional life. Anand’s dedication, hard work, talent in preserving and promoting his mother’s career and understanding of the film industry resulted in great success.
