Every time someone talks about great leaders and politicians, Arif Mohammad Khan has a seat on the list. Born on November 18, 1951, Arif Mohammad Khan was always obsessed with leadership skills and creating better developments. Arif Sir completed his education at Aligarh Muslim University. His political career is quite interesting right from the start. First, he joined hands with the Bhartiya Kranti Dal party and unfortunately lost the elections. Then he decided to tie up with Indian National Congress and was elected to the Lok Sabha from 1980-1986.
Due to various anomalies in the Muslim Personal Law Bill and issues with Rajiv Gandhi, he left the Indian National Congress and joined hands with Janata Dal. During that time, he was also elected as Union Minister of Civil Aviation and Energy. Consequently, since 2004 he has been working with the Bhartiya Janata Party and now is the 22nd Governor of Kerala. He played a significant role in standing up for the rights of divorced Muslim women.
