Adeeb Saharanpuri was a poet, who was also known as pre-modern. His poetry in Urdu is famous among poetry lovers. He was born on May 1, 1920. His birthplace was Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He is shayar of all times from Karachi, Pakistan. His ghazal, kalaam, and Naat-O-Manqabat were so popular. He was a poet, who infused both classical and modernist elements into his work with great efficiency. His ghazals like ek Khalish ko hasil-e-umr-e-rawan rahne diya, manzile na bhulenge rah-rau bha takne se, nahin kisi ki tawajjoh khud-agahi ki taraf, bakshe phir us nigah ne arman nae nae and naghma-e-ishq-e-butan aur zara aahista are the popular ones. His popular writes are available in the form of ghazal, two lines, love, sad, social, heartbroken, hope, and poetry. He also wrote a book in 1951, called Rang Wa Aahang, which shows how deep and thoughtful a poet can be. He died on July 1, 1963 in Sindh, Pakistan. His kalaams like Na Sahi Chain Se Basar Na Hui, un se aur shikwa-e-gham ai dil-e-nashad nahin, jahamein jise be-qarar dekha hai, and dil ke kahne mein agar hum aa gae is so satisfying to read.
