Trying her luck from the reality singing show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 2009 and being a tough competitor to the winner of the show, , Yashita Sharma proved her existence into the music industry through her voice in the latest hit 'Chaandaniya' featured in the movie '', starring and .

This Mumbai girl always loved singing since her childhood, and also wanted to take it up as her profession. She always had admiration for eminent singers of our music industry like A.R.Rahman, , KK and . She admits that she was a big fan of Asha Bhosle and her songs from her early childhood.

The Mumbai based singer was born on 4th July, 1990. She was first seen in the music reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, aired on Zee Channel, in 2009, as a contestant and initially belonged to Eklavya Gharana and later went ahead with Dhoom Gharana, with Pritam as her mentor. She made her journey up to the finale, finished in the top 3 and was the first runner up against Vaishali Mhade (winner). Yashita states her interests being Jazz, Instrumental, Lounge, Blues, Hip Hop, Old and new Bollywood and more. She has also done many live shows and worked for Pritam Da, and made the duet with her co singer KK, the song 'Martaba', in the movie ''.

The Mumbai singer has also gained the popularity and fame with her voice in 'Gallan Goddiyaan' in the movie ''. Other than music, the singer says that, she is also a good cook and enjoys cooking whenever she is free.
