Krishna Shrimant Rao Bongane is musically gifted and comes from a family of musicians and music lovers. He began studying music at the young age of 12 as an apprentice of Ustad Rashid Khan. Krishna is a fantastic singer who also plays the harmonium beautifully. He is a Sangeet Visharad from Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Maha Vidyalaya. He is one of India's most renowned and sought-after Hindustani classical artists. And to top it all off, he represented The University of Mumbai in the 2008 International Youth Fest Saufest, which was held in Nepal. He has received numerous renowned scholarships.
