Amborish Saikia was born in Nagaon but, in childhood, had shifted to Guwahati to complete his education at Disneyland High School. Next, he pursued higher education from Faculty Higher Secondary School in North Guwahati. He decided to enroll himself in Gauhati Commerce College for his post-graduation degree and further got his MBA degree from IMT, Ghaziabad, with Operations as his primary subject.
Amborish Saikia belongs to a musical family, and at a very young age, he was introduced to the world of music. He first learned guitar when he was in class 5, and then he started learning tabla. Keeping music aside, he also practiced table tennis, cricket and learned karate and swimming. He was a very well obedient student and was fair in his studies. But music was an integral part of it.
He joined Euphoria, a well-known band in 2010, and decided to shift to New Delhi. Saikia won the All India Rock Contest during his college days. He has marked himself nationally and internationally as a versatile guitarist. Recently Saikia has started his guitar institute in Guwahati.
