Since Sonu was singing for ‘K For Kishore’ contest, he added K before his name and got screen adaptation name as K. Shailendra. He was one of the outshine challengers in ‘K For Kishore’ program and won the final round but could not reach the top. Kishore is from a small town named Jhansi.
