Mohan Lal Aima was an eminent music composer in the Hindi film industry. He worked on several projects as a composer, but one of his most notable ones is Pamposh, a movie released in 1954. In addition, he has composed music for many other feature films, such as Maenzraat, the first feature Kashmiri film. Another accomplishment for Mohan Lal Aima was becoming the co-composer for the movie Zooni. Oscar-winner Ryuichi Sakamoto designed the film's musical score for international audiences, while Mohan Lal Aima composed all the music and songs in the Kashmiri version. Mohan Lal Aima additionally created many celebrated songs such as Lehra Aey Kashmir Ke Jhande and Ya Nabi Gosh Fariyaadan Thaav.
