Born in Thane, Chinmay did his schooling from Saraswati secondary school, in 2006. His birthday is on 8 May. He studied classical vocal music at Lalit Kala Kendra, Pune University. He sometimes prepares for his music with his group in Pune’s Just Jam, The Birth Place of Music. The singer-director also gave his vocals for a rock show “Kaahi Gulaabi.” He sang along with Saurabh Salunke, Vaibhav Shirole, and Niranjan Padgaonkar. The musicians included Saiprasad Nimbalkar as the drummer, Piyush Kulkarni as the keyboard player, Sanmit Waghmare as acoustic and electric guitar player, and Devdatta Baji as Bass guitar player. The music for the show is arranged and conducted by Saii and Piyush. The lyrics of the songs are written by Prashant Jamdar and the music was composed by Mohit Nagbhide. In 2014, Mr. Hulyalkar did the mixing and mastering, in Insaf-The song. The song focused on daily lives of a girl and the problem she is facing in this society.

He has also performed in Thane festivals. Last year, he became the music director for the film Miraador Utsav, a movie by Siya Manjarekar Productions. In 2016, he was in the Mix and Mastering department for the Swacch Maharashtra song. The song made by Maharashtra government, to keep the state clean.

He and Shrikant Sonawade also directed the music of a short film When the Gods come. The movie is directed by Olenich Marina, a Russian director and produced by Manish Jaiswal. The film ranked fourth in the International Festival “I see God” Moscow.

Bapi–Tutul Hindi Actor


Brothers Bapi and Tutul are Hindi film music composers. Elder brother Bapi is famous for his proficiency in Guitar and the younger one, Tutul is a pianist. Together they have given music to movies like Paisa Vasool, James, Phoonk, Agyaat, Rakta Charita, Sarkar, Sarkar Raj and Khosla Ka Ghosla. Originally from Muzaffarpur district, Bihar in eastern India, the duo is currently settled in Mumbai. Their father was a reputed Sales Professional. Music is in their blood as their mother had been a music reader in Bihar University and influenced her children by training them in classical music from a very early age. Bapi and Tutul graduated in Vocal music from Prayag Sangeet Music Academy, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh . Later, to diversify, the duo came to Mumbai and started learning western music from Rodrick Bismark, and they were his pupils from 1994 to 1999. In the initial days of their career, they scored music for some ad jingles and taught music to students. Finally, they got the big break of their career when they composed the music for Ram Gopal Verma's Bhoot and Ek Hasina Thi. Later, they gave music to track "Ab Kya Karenge" for Khosla Ka Ghosla and song "Govinda" in Amitabh Bachchan starrer Sarkar and its sequel Sarkar Raj. To be released, "Main Khudiram Bose Hun" is the latest movie for which they have composed music. The Coffin Maker movie required a special Konkani music, and singer Hema Sardesai did a tremendous job and they are extremely glad about winning an award from an international platform. They have also composed music for documentaries, the most prominent being "Daughters of Mother India." Bapi has debuted as a singer in the movie Sarkar Raj. They have worked in some Marathi movies which include Dubhang, Ved Lavi Jeeva, Zapatlela 2 and Sangharsh. The duo has won numerous awards, the most recent being Golden Pegasus for Best Original Score at the 4th Peloponnesian International Film Festival for Naseeruddin Shah starrer The Coffin Maker. Some of their well-known discography include "Din Hai Na Ye Raat" composition from Bhoot movie, Paisa Vasool which had Manisha Koirala and Sushmita Sen in the lead, James, National Award winner Antardwand, horror flick Phoonk and Satirical drama Oh, My God. Other than these, the duo also worked in RGV's horror movie Agyaat (for which Bapi Tutul also sang a song), Children’s movie Zor Lagaa Ke...Haiya, political thriller Rakta Charita and critically acclaimed Bubblegum. They also composed title track of Marathi TV Series Anorakhi Disha for which they bagged Best Title Track award.


Sajjad Hussain

Sajjad Hussain was born on 15 June in the year 1917 in Sitamau- a town in Mandsaur district, Madhya Pradesh, India. Sajid Hussain was a film score composer in India. He learned sitar from his father during his childhood. His father name was “Mohammed Amir Khan.” During his teenage, he learned flute, veena, violin, and piano. He was a well-established mandolin player who could play classical music on the instrument. –Sajjad Hussain decided to work as a film score composer in the year 1937. With his elder brother named “Nisar Hussain,” he came to Bombay. He did his first job for a salary of Rs. 30 per month. Later on, he moved to Wadia Movietone and worked there for a salary of Rs. 60 per month. After that, he worked with Rafiq Ghaznavi and Meer Saheb as an assistant music composer. He also worked with Shaukat Hussain Rizvi as a contract player. Later on, during 1940’s, his friend introduced him to a well-known music composer named Ali Baksh who is a father of popular actress Meena Kumari. Ali Baksh got impressed by Sajjad’s skills of playing mandolin and hired him for the post of assistant. After that, he became the assistant of well-known music director named Hanuman Prasad. During that time, he composed two songs. One for the film named Gaali which was released in the year 1944 and the other for the film named Ab Aaja Dil Na Lage. His debut film name was Dost as an independent director, released in the year 1944. The songs of the film were sung by Noor Jehan. These are “Alam Par Alam Aur Sitam Par Sitam,” “Koi Prem Ka Deke Sandesa,” and “Badnaam Mohabbat Kaun Kare.” These three songs were a big hit. Sajjad has worked with many eminent personalities like “Asha Bhosle,” “Lata Mangeshkar,” and “Suraiyya.” His best and the most popular score was in the film named “Rustom Sohrab” which was released in the year 1963. Sajjad was also a favorite composer of Lata Mangeshkar. ajjad had many controversies because of his nature. He was outspoken, short tempered, and moody. The biggest achievement of his career was when he composed music for the Sri Lankan Film named “Daiwa Yogaya” which was released in the year 1959. During his last years, Sajjad Hussain lived with his one daughter and five sons at Mahim in Natalwala Building. His five sons’ names are Yusuf, Mustafa, Noor Mohammad, Abdul Karim, and Nasir Ahmmad. They all became musicians. Sajjad Hussain died on 21st of July in the year 1995 in a state of unconsciousness. Pankaj Udhas and Khayyam were the popular film stars who attended his funeral.
