Chinmay Hulyalkar

Born in Thane, Chinmay did his schooling from Saraswati secondary school, in 2006. His birthday is on 8 May. He studied classical vocal music at Lalit Kala Kendra, Pune University. He is an established music director and playback singer in the film industry. Chinmay worked as a music arranger, for a song Mera Bharat Mahan. The song was for Amar Shaikh Music Academy.

He sometimes prepares for his music with his group in Pune’s Just Jam, The Birth Place of Music. The music for the show is arranged and conducted by Saii and Piyush. The lyrics of the songs are written by Prashant Jamdar and the music was composed by Mohit Nagbhide. In 2014, Mr. Hulyalkar did the mixing and mastering, in Insaf-The song. The song focused on daily lives of a girl and the problem she is facing in this society.

On 11 April, he and his team had their first stage show. They sang the medley of A.R. Rehman’s best compositions. Chinmay along with his friend Anurag, created the music of this movie. He has also performed in Thane festivals. Last year, he became the music director for the film Miraador Utsav, a movie by Siya Manjarekar Productions. In 2016, he was in the Mix and Mastering department for the Swacch Maharashtra song. The song made by Maharashtra government, to keep the state clean.

He and Shrikant Sonawade also directed the music of a short film When the Gods come. The movie is directed by Olenich Marina, a Russian director and produced by Manish Jaiswal. The film ranked fourth in the International Festival “I see God” Moscow.
